Michael Hodgson, Junior Associate at Aceris Law, is a UK-US educated arbitration lawyer based in London. He is fluent in English and French, and also speaks Russian.

Michael studied at the University of Sussex, England, where he graduated with a first-class law degree, and the University of Michigan, United States, where he earned a James B. Angell award and became an advocate for UNICEF U of M.

Prior to joining Aceris, Michael was an intern at a leading litigation firm in London and has worked on projects for the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization. He has also worked with Thomson Reuters to teach Westlaw Advanced certification.

As a trainee, Michael was involved in various commercial disputes under the UNCITRAL, LCIA, ICC, and ICSID rules of arbitration. As a trainee, Michael worked on all parts of the arbitral process, from preparing pre-arbitral legal memoranda to drafting closing submissions.
