Federico Belausteguigoitia
Corporate and Commercial Partner. Member of the Aviation and Energy Departments. Federico has extensive experience in advising on commercial matters, especially in the commercial and energy aviation sectors. Specifically, he has in-depth knowledge of corporate law matters, as well as M&A and commercial contracts.In the energy sector, he has extensive experience in investing and disinvesting renewable assets, as well as advising on the acquisition and/or sale of licenses, permits and authorizations for the construction of renewable energy facilities. Also, in the field of aviation law, Federico has provided recurrent advice to airlines, service providers and other companies in the negotiation of contracts for their activity in Spain, as well as in relations with regulatory bodies and consumer authorities.Prior to joining RCD, Federico built part of his career in Marimón Abogados and as in-house Legal Counsel for Iberia Airlines.
Helena Constantine
Helena’s heads the energy department, with extensive experience drafting, negotiating and finalizing concession agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, advising and overseeing mergers and acquisitions. Helena has worked in all levels of the supply chain, and as such, has experience working with, advising and defending downstream, midstream and upstream projects, as well as working with renewable energy companies to establish and run their projects in Egypt. Helena’s range of experience also extends to all levels and means of dispute resolution for energy companies, including conducting initial case assessments, drafting and reviewing legal documents such as memos, pleadings and motions, participating in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and representing clients in commercial and corporate arbitration governed by Egyptian law. Helena and her team of lawyers have attained numerous successes in the above sectors.  Helens is a member of the Egyptian Bar association and holds a Masters 2 in “Private International Law” from Jean Moulin Lyon III in France.
Lena Hamdi
Lena Hamdi is a Partner at Andersen Tax & Legal in Egypt. She has extensive experience providing market entry strategies and consolidated legal and business advise to companies, including start-ups . Lena’s experience includes intellectual property protection against any illegal infringement, disputes concerning illegitimate competition and the disclosure of trade secrets.In addition to the above, Lena also handles the registration of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, including (filing applications, defending patents & trademarks, before a patent board, and preparing responses to reports from patent examiners, renewing applications and handling appeal processes).Lena also has experience with negotiating, drafting and executing all franchise documents including franchise agreements, disclosure documents, lease agreements for franchise premises, and intellectual property licensing, the creation of legal franchising strategies for the penetration of the Egyptian market, and drafting and negotiating commercial agency and distribution agreements.
Sylvia Sidrak
Sylvia Sidrak is a Partner at Andersen in Egypt.
