Sergiy Burnus provids a liaison between the UK-based clients and project teams in various practice areas, maintaining and developing the firm’s relationships with its contacts in the UK and worldwide. He is passionate about collaboration, proactively responding with the new legal solutions to the market developments and clients’ needs.
Sergiy combines legal and advocacy skills with strategic expertise developed over many years of work in a variety of legal advisory, regulatory policy, and business development projects. He is qualified as a Ukrainian lawyer and does not advise on English law.
As a practicing lawyer he brings many years of experience in banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, dispute resolution, immigration and international trade areas. Sergiy has acted as a locum lawyer in many international commercial disputes related to commercial contracts, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance, data protection, corruption and fraud investigations.
He has a great deal of experience in acting for financial institutions, international corporations, high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and innovative start-ups in connection with multi-jurisdictional projects.
