The result of a 2019 merger between domestic practice Estudio Jurídico Otero and Spain-based, TMT-focused multinational firm ECIJA, ECIJA Otero‘s track record includes media and entertainment production-related matters, digital services and cloud computing issues. The group also assists with compliance, preventing potential conflicts, restructurings, the dismissal of senior executives, collective bargaining, and relocation and expatriation agreements. The department is led by Gerardo Otero Alvarado, who has longstanding experience in labour contract drafting and lawsuits; labour law expert Dolores Echeverría Faz was made partner in early 2021; and manager María de los Ángeles Fernández assists with both employment law advisory work and litigation.
