Gernandt & Danielsson advises in Citira Holding AB's (publ) (formerly Circular Tire Services Europe Holding AB (publ)) issues of subsequent bonds in a total amount of SEK 420 million within its existing framework of SEK 2.6 billion. ABG Sundal Collier has acted as sole bookrunner in connection with the issues. Gernandt & Danielsson advises Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH in the sale of the shopping centre Sisjö Entré. The property covers a total of 15,310 square metres and is strategically located in Sisjön – one of Gothenburg's most expansive commercial and business areas. Financial closing took place at the turn of the year and practical closing took place in January 2026. The transaction took place through the divestment of the shares in the property owning company. Gernandt & Danielsson's team consisted of partner Magnus Lidman and associates Sofie Hallén, Viktor Rytter, Rebecka Ljung and Agnes Ulfwinger.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises Industrikraft when Industrikraft and Vattenfall enter into agreement on new nuclear power in Sweden

Industrikraft i Sverige AB, an industrial consortium, has signed an agreement with Vattenfall AB to acquire 20 per cent of the shares in Videberg Kraft AB. Industrikraft consists of ABB, Alfa Laval, Boliden, Hitachi Energy, Höganäs AB, SSAB, Saab, Stora Enso and the Volvo group. The transaction is expected to close in January 2026. Videberg Kraft AB, which will build and operate new nuclear reactors, has applied to the Government Offices of Sweden for state aid to support an investment in new nuclear power for the Videberg nuclear power project on the peninsula Värö in Varberg. Gernandt & Danielsson has earlier advised during the establishment of the consortium Industrikraft I Sverige AB. Gernandt & Danielsson advises affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management in connection with the acquisition of Brocc Finance AB

Gernandt & Danielsson advises affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. in connection with the acquisition of Brocc Finance AB from Brocc Holding AB. The acquisition was consummated on 29 October 2025 following customary regulatory approvals from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. Cerberus Capital Management is a global alternative investment firm with approximately USD 70 billion in assets across complementary credit, real estate, and private equity strategies. Cerberus has been one of the largest acquirers of non-performing loans (so-called NPLs) in Europe over the last 15 years. Brocc Finance AB is a Swedish credit market company (Sw. kreditmarknadsbolag), with a strong presence in consumer finance across the Nordics, operating a tech-enabled platform that streamlines operations across lending, risk management, and product offerings to enable faster decisions, lower costs, and integrated customer experiences. The purpose of the acquisition is to enable Brocc Finance AB to specialise in the acquisition of non-performing loans to obtain the status of a specialised debt restructurer (Sw. specialiserad skuldomstrukturerare; a so-called SDR) under the Capital Requirements Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (the CRR). Following the consummation of the acquisition, Brocc Finance AB has acquired portfolios of non-performing loans of more than SEK 430 billion in outstanding balances, establishing Brocc Finance AB as one of Europe’s largest acquirers of non-performing loans. On 23 October 2025, DLL’s Swedish subsidiary De Lage Landen Finans AB returned its licence to conduct financing business to instead become registered as a financial institution. The operations of De Lage Landen Finans AB's Danish and Finnish branches will continue under local registrations. Simultaneously, De Lage Landen Finans AB has ended its Norwegian branch, which has been replaced by a new branch established on a cross-border basis by DLL's Dutch credit institution De Lage Landen International B.V. The transaction took place through the acquisition of the shares in the property-owning company, and involves the development and construction of a modern parcel terminal for the tenant PostNord. PostNord is investing SEK 1.1 billion in the new high-tech and sustainable terminal, which will be able to process 25,000 packages per hour, achieving the highest capacity in Sweden. The parcel terminal is expected to be finished in Q2 2027. Gernandt & Danielsson advises a consortium consisting of AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab, SEB and Wallenberg Investments in connection with the launch of the joint company Sferical AI AB, which will operate a new sovereign AI supercomputer to transform and prepare the country's leading industries for the age of AI. The AI initiative is part of a collaboration with NVIDIA that aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish industry by offering participating companies world-leading computing power for AI in an integrated, sovereign and secure infrastructure. In parallel with the launch of the new company, work will begin on establishing an NVIDIA AI Technology Centre in Sweden. The centre will work with the participating companies to tailor the company's AI systems and develop new applications. In the long term, the centre will also support the broader Swedish business community with skills enhancement initiatives such as NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute training.
