Position
Aadne heads the firm’s Gas Dispute practice. He is an expert on international agreements for transportation, sale and purchase of natural gas and other commodities, and specialises on dispute resolution, in particular international arbitration, within these industries. Aadne has advised and represented commercial and state actors within the petroleum and process industries in contract negotiations and disputes for almost 20 years. The disputes have stemmed from inter alia price reviews, joint ventures, sanctions and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience from institutional, ad-hoc and investment arbitration. Aadne reads and speaks Russian and has particular experience with disputes relating to the former Soviet Union, not least as lead counsel in Ukrainian Naftogaz’s multi-billion dollar disputes with Gazprom.
