Klara specialises in civil and criminal litigation as well as compliance, and works in the area of dispute resolution specialising in financial services litigation, particularly representing banks in court proceedings as well as product liability and warranty disputes.

Further, Klara has had a strong focus on criminal law and criminal compliance since 2009. Klara advises and defends institutional and individual clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including claims of fraud, anti-corruption law violations and breach of trust. Also, Klara has designed and implemented internal compliance programmes, established search warrant response plans and conducted internal investigations. Also, Klara is in charge of Schoenherr's Criminal Defense Pro Bono Project on behalf of the firm's numerous criminal legal aid clients.

Before joining Schoenherr in 2010, Klara worked in the dispute resolution practice group of a large international law firm. She holds a degree from the University of Vienna (Doctor iuris). Furthermore, Klara studied at the Charles University in Prague. During her studies Klara worked as a trainee in international law firms and did an internship at a US criminal court. Klara speaks German, Czech and English.
