Career

Keith Dunn is a Senior Associate in A&L Goodbody’s Commercial & Technology department in Belfast. He advises clients on a broad range of contractual matters with a particular focus on data protection, intellectual property and cyber security.

Keith has obtained a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law and is qualified to practise in Northern Ireland and England and Wales. In relation to data protection, Keith has obtained the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (PC.dp.) and the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) qualification.

Keith specialises in the strategic planning, drafting, negotiation and post-execution management of a broad-spectrum of commercial contracts. These include agency, consultancy, distribution, licensing, manufacturing, outsourcing, research, sponsorship, supply and technology transfer agreements.

Keith has developed particular expertise in assisting clients within the R&D sector. He regularly advises clients in relation to the negotiation of collaborative arrangements between research institutions in both the private and public sectors, helping them develop, protect and exploit valuable IP rights and manage publication and accreditation rights.
