  • Representing Turner Industries Group, LLC, an ENR top-40 contractor that provides services for major industrial plants. We demanded arbitration on behalf of Turner against CTCI McDermott Integrated (CMI), a joint venture between CTCI America, Inc. and McDermott, Inc., seeking approximately $61 million in damages, plus interest, fees, costs, and expenses, on disputes arising from the construction of the largest monoethylene glycol steam cracker facility in the world. The parties completed the Arbitration Hearing in January 2024. The Panel awarded our client over $35 million.
  • Representing M.G. Dyess, Inc., a national pipeline contractor and one of the largest specialty contractors in North America. In December 2018, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of M.G. Dyess against pipeline owner MarkWest Liberty Midstream & Resources, LLC seeking $39 million in damages arising from the construction of a gas pipeline in West Virginia. The jury awarded our client all of the damages it sought.
  • Represented Bilfinger Inc. (f/k/a Bilfinger Weston Inc.) and were engaged to provide pre-litigation claim analysis for its involvement in the Braskem Polypropylene Plant in LaPorte, Texas.  Bilfinger contended that Linde Engineering North America, L.L.C. failed to provide materials and turn over construction areas as planned, which forced Bilfinger to perform work out of sequence. The Arbitration Panel awarded our client over $29 million as well as interest, costs, and attorneys’ fees.
