Position

Barrister specialising in tortious claims for personal injury. High value claims involving brain damage, spinal injuries and fatal accident, clinical negligence and claims against local authorities in relation to sexual abuse of children, negligent social work, including failure to remove, and educational negligence. Particular experience in both the CICB and CICA dealing with claims of maximum severity, often brain damaged children. Significant criminal experience although this is now restricted to cases involving the HSE and other regulatory work. Also a specialism in costs disputes.
