Career
Osvaldo is a partner in Consortium Legal – Costa Rica. He has extensive experience in Corporate Labor Law, both at the individual and collective level.
During his professional practice, he has been for more than 13 years a consultant for local and regional companies; during this time he has been a professor at the University of Costa Rica in the Roman Law and Labor Law chairs, as well as professor and coordinator of the Specialized Labor Law Program of the Continuing Education Program of the University of Costa Rica, directed at lawyers and non-lawyers, directly related to this branch of law. He was also professor and coordinator of the Specialist Program in Labor Law at the Escuela de Administración de Empresas/FUNDATEC of the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. He has also been a professor of Labor Law and Social Security at several private universities in Costa Rica.
Currently, he is a member of the Committee of Excellence of the Costa Rican Bar Association, the body in charge of designing, preparing and reviewing the Academic Excellence Examination whose approval is required by law graduates to become members of the Bar Association and practice law.
