Maritza is director of the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property with a mention in Pharmaceutical Law at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.

Professor in different universities in Peru, Mexico and Argentina on topics related to Life Sciences and Intellectual Property. She is a lecturer in the Course for Trainers in Intellectual Property for the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO and Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank on sanitary regulation issues.

Chairman of the Amcham’s Health Committee, and former chairman of the ASIPI Diversity Committee and the Regulatory Committee of ASIPI.
