Bernardo Tobar is the Managing Partner of Tobar ZVS and leads the Corporate and M&A practice. He has more than 33 years of professional practice, dedicated primarily to assisting clients in building and growing their businesses.

He specializes in complex contracts, projects and negotiations, generally advising investors and corporate clients in multi-jurisdictional transactions, integrating both legal and business perspectives. As Managing Partner he has been a pioneer in the digital transformation and adoption of new technologies for the construction of the law firm of the future.

To his professional practice he adds four years as President of one of the largest infrastructure companies in the resource industry in Ecuador. Therefore, in addition to providing strategic advice on complex projects, he has successfully faced the challenge of managing them.

Bernardo has been a professor in business law, a frequent speaker at international events, has published his first book on the future of political organizations, and maintains a weekly column in a nationally recognized newspaper. Due to his entrepreneurial spirit, he is also an investor and is currently promoting Legaltech’s activities.
