Career

Geoffroy van de Walle’s practice has focused on representing clients in antitrust investigations and litigation for more than 15 years. His representations span across Europe at the national and EU levels, as well as in emerging economies.

Geoffroy regularly assists clients in complex antitrust investigations, including in intricate abuse of dominance cases in the technology and pharma sectors, as well as global cartels. He also has extensive experience in navigating cross-border merger control reviews, including coordinating investigations requiring divestitures. He regularly represents clients before the European Commission, national competition authorities and courts.

Geoffroy also spends considerable time in helping clients to prevent antitrust issues. He regularly advises clients in devising pricing, distribution, licensing and other commercial strategies that achieve their goals while ensuring compliance. He also works regularly with in-house counsel to prepare and deliver compliance training and material to key employees.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2015, Geoffroy was an antitrust associate at an international law firm in Brussels. He received his LL.M. from the New York University School of Law, where he was awarded the Frank T. Diersen prize for distinction in the LL.M. program and the Betty Bock prize for Competition Policy. Geoffroy regularly publishes articles and speaks on topics in the competition field.
