Debra Jezouit brings her national experience on the Clean Air Act, global climate change, and other issues like environmental justice to assist electric generating, chemical, and manufacturing clients on matters ranging from permitting, regulatory compliance counseling, state and federal rulemaking development and challenges, enforcement actions, and the development and auditing of environmental programs. She has over 30 years of experience working on various air toxics standards, issues relating to New Source Review and the New Source Performance Standards, the development of regional haze plans, Title V permitting issues, the Acid Rain Program, the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule, the greenhouse gas reporting program, and Civil Rights Act Title VI complaints.

The environmental, safety, and incident response team at Baker Botts L.L.P. offers services coast-to-coast and has particular strength in crisis response and prevention. Permitting, compliance, investigations and enforcement are also key tenets of the practice, and it is particularly experienced in the air, water and waste sectors. In Houston, Scott Janoe heads the team, while Scott Elliott is recommended for environmental, and health and safety issues, in the chemical and energy industries.
