Position

Jarrod is a partner in Carey Olsen’s Cayman Islands office. He advises on all corporate and commercial aspects of Cayman Islands law and regulation, with a particular emphasis on investment funds.

Jarrod has considerable experience of advising on the establishment of both regulated and unregulated investment funds in the Cayman Islands and of advising investment funds and other vehicles on transactional, financing and compliance matters, including local business licensing.

Career

Jarrod was previously a partner at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands, where he worked from 2004, prior to which he worked for Slaughter and May in London.

Jarrod was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2000 and as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2004. He is also admitted as a notary public in the Cayman Islands.
