Mr. Siddiq is involved in a wide range of legal works and gained immense experience in civil, commercial, corporate, company, project finance and energy law matters. He was involved in the biggest ever FDI in Bangladesh in healthcare sector wherein Tanjib Alam and Associates represented STS Holdings in selling majority stake of Apollo Hospital Limited to Evercare group in an impact investment. Mr. Siddiq assisted the Senior Counsel in a merger of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited with its subsidiary through exchange of shares. He was involved in advising a local fintech company which is involved in establishing first inter-operable digital transaction platform in Bangladesh on public-private partnership (PPP) basis which shall enable parties to verify digital transactions. He assisted the Senior Counsel in a dispute with the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission and Ministry of Power, Energy and mineral Resources in respect of the relevant commercial power plant’s entitlement to the requisite license and the fixation of gas price for its 100MW power project. He frequently advices the leading freight forwarders and globally renowned container shipping lines and vessel operators regarding several matters. Mr. Siddiq successfully represented, amongst others, United Power Generation & Distribution Company Limited, Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited, Mashreq Bank Dubai, Sena Hotel Developments Ltd., Dignity Textile Mills Limited before the Courts of Bangladesh subordinate to the High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Mr. Siddiq is a Barrister of the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London. He was called to the Bar by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London after successful completion of Bar Professional Training Course from the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. He is enrolled as an Advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council.
