Career
A versatile and driven litigator experienced in handling a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. Andrea’s practice focuses on banking and financial services litigation as well as corporate insolvency.
She regularly acts for some of the nation’s largest banks and financial institutions on complex disputes affecting industry practices. She has also appeared at all tiers of courts in Malaysia to argue on intricate and high-value disputes involving contracts, negligence, economic torts, and debt recovery.
Additionally, Andrea has represented and advised companies and their directors charged with committing offences under various regulatory laws in Malaysia. She is a contributor of two authoritative legal texts in the country, namely, the Malaysian Civil Procedure and Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Malaysian Precedents of Pleadings.
Andrea obtained her LLB from the University of London and holds a Certificate in Legal Practice. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.
