Career

Mr. Chang Ik Sung is a partner in the IP & Technology Team of the Litigation Group. Mr. Sung mainly advises and represents clients on IP rights, product liability issues, general civil and criminal proceedings, and family law and inheritance proceedings.

Previously, he served as a judge in the Patent Court and as a Chief Justice in the Ulsan District Court, and he has gained a wide range of legal experience from numerous top-tier domestic and international law firms.

He represents both domestic and international clients based on his experience as a judge and an attorney in the areas of IP, and general civil and criminal proceedings. He also serves as an arbitrator on the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. He continues to actively research and publish on the topics of patent law as a member of the Korea Patent Law Society and the Korea Association for Info-Media Law.
