Slavomír Máčaj is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.
He has been cooperating with RELEVANS in various forms since its origin. He became a partner in April 2021.
Expertise
As part of his practice, Slavomír encountered with several legal areas and participated in various significant transactions, projects and analyses. He also has experience in banking, financial markets, securities and real estate.
At present, he deals almost exclusively with the litigation agenda, especially with representing clients in complex and demanding disputes. Also, he specializes in disputes in the areas of commercial law, competition law, constitutional law, administrative law, banking law, protection of personality rights and the reputation of a legal entities.
He is also involved in the development and training of lawyers and trainees, improving methodological procedures and processes for sharing know-how in RELEVANS.

The firm has a strong practice in public law, handling disputes arising from violations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural or legal persons. Founding partner Alexander Kadela co-heads the practice with Tomáš Bardelčík and Slavomír Máčaj; all three are recognised for their expertise in both domestic and cross-border litigation.
