Mr. Pustovit is the partner of the firm's Competition & Antitrust and International Trade practices. Alexey is involved extensively in competition and international trade matters. He has an outstanding record of representing and advising major international and Ukrainian companies on complex competition investigations and litigations in cases on abuse of dominance and concerted practices, merger control issues.
Alexey also counsels clients on broad spectrum of trade law and practice matters, including representation in antidumping and safeguards investigations, export control and sanctions.

Career

Prior to joining Asters in 2011, Alexey was a partner with Konnov & Sozanovsky heading the firm's competition practice.

  • NBU Introduces Changes to Cross-Border Loan Registration Procedure

    On 15 June 2012, the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine (the "NBU") adopted Regulation No. 246 introducing amendments (the "Amendments") to the procedure of obtainment by residents of foreign-currency loans from non-residents and providing by residents of foreign-currency loans to non-residents (the "Procedure") set forth in NBU Regulation No. 270. The Amendments shall come into force 4 months after the date of registration by the Ministry of Justice, which occurred on 9 July 2012.
