Position

Eyal Roy Sage is one of the firm’s founding partners and heads our Law and Technology Department, which concentrates in data protection and security, telecommunications and media, intellectual property and competition law.

Eyal’s practice concentrates in data protection and security, telecommunications and media, intellectual property and competition. He draws on his technical background to provide practical commercial and regulatory advice, helping bridge the gap between often outdated laws and modern technology.

Eyal’s clients include industry leaders in the technology, banking, insurance, financial services and telecommunications and media sectors. He represents the firm’s clients before the Privacy Protection Authority, other regulators, and parliamentary committees, participates in the defence teams of complex class action lawsuits in the areas of privacy, consumerism, and competition. Eyal regularly advises on Israeli law for foreign companies and is experienced in bilingual handling of litigation cases of foreign companies that are plaintiffs or defendants in Israel.

He has extensive expertise in handling the engagements of broadcasters for the production of content and for licencing the use of musical and audio-visual works on a collective basis.

He lectures, writes articles and provides instruction at conferences, in webinars and in courses on privacy protection and information security.
