Partner Bjørn Sørgård is co-head of Haavind’s fisheries and aquaculture practice team and one of Norway’s foremost experts in the field. For a number of years, he has been advising commercial companies and trade associations in the fisheries and aquaculture industry. He is a versatile practitioner handling a broad range of cases involving business law and administrative law, as well as transactional and litigious matters.
Sørgård is particular renowned for his unique knowledge of regulatory matters concerning fisheries and aquaculture. A wide range of clients appreciates his experience in handling cases involving public authorities. He is further recognised for his business acumen and regularly assists companies on commercial contracts within the industry.
