Career

Having joined VdA in 2005, Sofia Barata is Of Counsel and head of practice of the Corporate Services Unit. With a vast track record in M&A, she worked in numerous domestic and international transactions over the years, notably mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, acquisition and corporate finance deals.
The combination of years of experience in the day-to-day support of clients across industries and a perfect command of the new technological tools of AI and process automation procedures, gives Sofia the skill sets required to develop and optimize new cross-practice products and services within VdA, resorting to the consistent adoption of technological procedures.
