Sophie Jacmain specialises in litigation, in particular corporate, real estate and general commercial litigation.

Sophie is a highly regarded expert in restructuring and insolvency law. She has published several articles on various aspects of restructuring and insolvency proceedings and the structuring of collateral and has taught in these areas at the University of Brussels (ULB). She has also served as a trustee in bankruptcy and is often invited to speak at seminars.

Thanks to her experience and skills, Sophie is able to offer corporate clients and banks (e.g. BNP Paribas Fortis, ING, Aareal Bank, KBC, Electrabel, etc.) top-notch advice and support in relation to general commercial issues, litigation and insolvency-related files. She has also developed strong ties in these areas with private equity funds such as Cobepa, Chequers Capital, the Alpha funds and major Belgian companies including the Artexis Group, Easyfairs Group, Cofinimmo, JCDecaux, etc.
