Career

Nikolay is proficient in every stage of the property acquisition process – from the preliminary due diligence and risk analysis, through the preparation of contracts and transactions structuring, to the negotiations and representation. He is also experienced in preparation of different types of contracts related to the construction process, property management and property acquisition.

Nikolay is part of the team consulting the quickly expanding European retail chain Pepco on various real estate matters, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating of lease agreements for more than 80 commercial premises in Bulgaria.

He has been a key member of the team to support Tradenet Varna during its expansion and development as a major petrol station chain by carrying out the due diligence on the status of the land and the properties, including ownership rights, urban regulation status, compliance with specific construction requirements and drafting of the acquisition papers.

Nikolay is also one of the authors of the first Bulgarian Construction Law Handbook published by the Bulgarian Society of Construction Law and the Bulgarian Chapter of Studies in European Construction Law issued by the European Society of Construction Law.
