Position

Cathrine Amalie Rømer Christensen is a director in Plesner’s  Real Estate team.

Cathrine advises Danish and international property investors, pension funds and property developers on property transactions and development projects. Cathrine’s experience covers all aspects of project development, from the purchase of properties or land to the creation of properties and cadastral issues, local planning processes, drafting and negotiation of contracts, etc.

Cathrine has experience working with large contract and construction projects, where she has provided “cradle to grave” advice. She has been involved in tender processes, in negotiation and formation of contracts, in structuring of sets of contracts and in implementation of complex projects, and she has also been involved in major litigation and arbitration proceedings relating to disputes within the construction sector.

Cathrine combines construction law experience with knowledge and commercial understanding of project development, and she provides customized and solution-oriented advice focusing on the success criteria for the project.

Cathrine also deals with ESG in construction and in property investments, and has a sound knowledge of the regulatory framework, but also a practical approach to ESG reporting, among other things.

Cathrine has recieved Prince2 certification as of 2022
