Position

Emil Deleuran is a partner in Plesner’s Banking and Finance team.

Emil focuses primarily on financial regulation and advises in that connection especially banks, asset managers, pension funds and investment funds. Emil’s experiences cover particularly advising on complex transactions and contract structures, which often involve cross-border aspects.

Emil has worked on several investigations of financial undertakings and has extensive experience in assisting with the handling of various enforcement cases as well as matters concerning breaches of Danish financial regulation, liability and managerial responsibility.

Further, Emil assists on an ongoing basis clients with material projects such as the establishment of financial undertakings or investment funds (AIFs and UCITS), purchases or sales of financial undertakings, larger reorganisations or restructurings and implementation projects in respect of new financial regulation.

Emil also has extensive experience advising on and negotiating contracts for dealing derivatives and commodities (natural gas, electricity and oil).

Emil was in 2016 selected as one of the top 100 young talents in Denmark by the Danish business magazine Berlingske Business in their annual “Talent 100” edition.
