Position

Jesper Husmer Vang is a senior counsel in Plesner’s Data Protection Law team.

Jesper is a specialist in personal data law. He has been working with personal data law since 2006.

Before joining Plesner, Jesper worked for nine years at the Data Protection Agency, where he for the last two years was head of the Data Protection Agency’s supervisory unit. Jesper has also been deeply involved in the preparation of the Ministry of Justice’s report no. 1565 on the General Data Protection Regulation and a large number of the Data Protection Agency’s guidelines on data protection.

Jesper is a frequently used speaker in the field of data protection and he is known for being good at communicating complex material in an easily understandable and practically manageable manner.
