Position

Josefine Movin Østergaard represents Danish and foreign companies in litigation and arbitration proceedings. Her main practice areas are financial products, liability for management and institutions and professional liability. Every year, Josefine and Karsten Kristoffersen co-author the chapter on Denmark in The Securities Litigation Review (published by Law Business Research).

Further, Josefine conducts legal investigations, both small and large-scale, and she was a key name in Bruun & Hjejle’s investigation regarding Danske Bank’s Estonian branch, which was concluded with an investigation report in September 2018.

Josefine holds two master’s degrees from both University of Copenhagen and University College London (UCL). In 2022, she was named one of the most promising talents in the Danish business world across sectors and industries on the Talent 100 List published by the Danish newspaper Berlingske. Josefine devotes time and effort to diversity and employee satisfaction initiatives.
