Position

Marina Grech is a Partner within Ganado Advocates’ investment services and funds department. Over the years, she has assisted a number of clients obtain authorisation from the local regulator, the MFSA. Her expertise spans from company service providers, to investment services licence holders, such as AIFMs, UCITS management companies and brokers, as well as UCITS schemes, AIFs, venture capital funds, real estate funds and private equity funds.

In her day-to-day practice, Marina assists authorised entities navigate through legal and regulatory obligations to ensure ongoing compliance therewith, in the pursuit of their operations. In this context, Marina has taken a keen interest in GRC considerations and actively advises clients on the structuring of internal governance arrangements, as well as their compliance and risk frameworks, with a view to bolster internal operations, controls and reporting lines.

Additionally, Marina regularly advises clients on corporate matters. This includes the setting up in or continuation to Malta of legal entities, the restructuring of authorised entities, as well as ongoing operational and governance considerations.
