Covered by four separate teams, Fenech & Fenech Advocates’ shipping practice includes marine litigation led by Ann Fenech, ship registration headed by legal procurator Rowena Grima, Mark Fenech’s ship finance group and yachting work under Alison Vassallo’s leadership; other noteworthy practitioners include employment specialist Paul Gonzi and senior associate Adrian Attard. Chetcuti Cauchi Advocatesalways responds in a pragmatic and professional way’ thanks to its ‘competent, sensible and commercial team, which consistently puts the client first’. The department has substantial experience advising ship and yacht owners on ship and mortgage registrations. Silvana Zammit is the main contact; she recently advised on a yacht exchange and purchase for Mamy Chartering, and acted in multiple maritime law disputes.

GVZH Advocates’ yachting practice regularly handles ship registration and finance transactions with notable expertise in reflagging issues, vessel importations, ship arrests and yacht ownership structures.
