Career

Edyta Zalewska specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint venture, as well as in corporate law. She also has experience in the corporate aspects of restructurings and business separation. She advises clients on identifying the most appropriate corporate structures for their transactions, conducts legal due diligence investigations, drafts and negotiates contractual documentation, and files notices and applications for necessary approvals, and assists at the closing of the deal and with post-closing formalities.

She provides ongoing corporate advice to a number of public and private companies from various manufacturing and service sectors.

She co-authored flagship publications published under the auspices of the World Bank as part of the Doing Business series, i.e. Equal Opportunity for All, 2017, Reforming to Create Jobs, 2018 and Training for Reform, 2019. EMEA’s International The Legal 500 ranking recommends her in the areas of corporate law and M&A transactions.

Edyta graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw and completed Postgraduate Studies (DESS) in French and European Commercial Law, organised by the University of Poitiers. She also holds a Certificate from the French Centre for French and European Law Studies, issued jointly by the University of Warsaw and the University of Poitiers.
