Position

Daniel S. Weber works mainly in the areas of banking and financial market law, white-collar crime, compliance and internal investigations.

He advises and represents Swiss and foreign banks, asset managers and investment funds on regulatory, supervisory and contractual matters and assists them in authorization procedures. 

Another focus of his practice is advising and representing clients in connection with internal and regulatory investigations by Swiss and foreign authorities as well as in complex compliance matters, including money laundering and corruption.

He advises and represents clients in (white-collar) criminal and regulatory enforcement proceedings as well as in international judicial and administrative assistance matters. He also supports his clients in crisis management in connection with investigations and proceedings.

Based on his prior experience as Deputy Head Investigations at a major Swiss bank and as a Secondee in the Enforcement division of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), Daniel S. Weber has in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and broad experience in conducting large-scale internal investigations, including whistleblowing proceedings.

Daniel S. Weber is also a lecturer and author in his fields of expertise.
