Arnaud TESSALONIKOS is the head of the “Computer and Digital Laws, Data Protection department.

Career

Prior to joining DS AVOCATS, Arnaud was an associate then a partner in highly regarded law firms specialized in IT law for more than fifteen years. Before that, Arnaud began his career as a consultant / in-house lawyer in a software and computing service company headed by legal experts in IT for the Paris Court of Appeal computerized system project. These experiences gave him an extensive practice in IT Law and a thorough know-how of the industry. Arnaud has acquired expertise in advising large companies in financial and banking sectors, insurance, pharmaceutical sector etc. He works closely with the procurement, legal and IT departments but also with digital security officers and/or risk management officers to assist clients in the elaboration of large-scale IT projects. Arnaud has also developed a significant expertise in assisting companies with regards to their evolution systems such as dematerialization, electronic signature, electronic filing, upgrades, information systems security, data management, etc. He regularly advises public entities with respect to their modernization projects. Arnaud also stands out for his in-depth knowledge of information system matters. He is currently appointed as a Data Protection Officer DPO for several companies and local authorities. The appointment as a DPO ensures a legal compliance of data processing framework.

Arnaud taught Computer Law at Paris II Panthéon Assas University, EPITA, and at the Technological University of Troyes. He took part at several working groups, research and normalization institutes in IT sectors such as the AFTT, AFCDP, ECOTER Mission, PRESAJE, AFNOR, FING.
