Dispute resolution
David Marriott, a New York trial lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, handles a broad range of matters in antitrust, intellectual property, and securities law. In April 2024, Marriott achieved a federal appeals court ruling for Mylan N.V. (now Viatris, Inc.), upholding a rare summary judgment that dismissed a class action claiming over $4bn in damages for alleged securities fraud. Among his ongoing mandates, Marriott is representing Live Nation in a monopoly lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, 39 states, and the District of Columbia in New York federal court, seeking to break up Live Nation and Ticketmaster.
