Estudio Olaechea advises on the gamut of tax issues, acting for local and international clients in cross-border matters. It has recently handled a number of tax matters relating to share sales and acquisitions, customs, reorganisations and disputes. Jorge Dávila co-heads the team and is experienced in international tax matters, tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A and contentious matters. Michael Morales, who was promoted to partner in September 2022, is fellow co-head the team and is a name to note for tax consultancy and tax proceedings before SUNAT and the Tax Court. Senior associate Ericka Caballero and associate Nataly Aspinwall are both recommended for customs and foreign trade. Since publication Dávila has left the firm, effective as of October 2023.
