Luis Marcelo’s broad experience features infrastructure, energy and natural resources project development and dealing with matters related to regulation, permitting, land access and complex disputes. He has participated in a wide array of financing and acquisition transactions and has a considerable track record representing companies from the energy and oil and gas sectors in financing, regulatory and contractual matters. His expertise also includes banking and finance, structured financing, general financing, and insolvency and restructuring. Luis Marcelo regularly advises Peruvian and foreign companies. In 1999, Luis Marcelo was among the founding partners of Miranda & Amado. He was previously a member of Estudio Echecopar from 1991 to 1994 and from 1996 to 1999, and of Mayer, Brown & Platt (Chicago) from 1995 to 1996.
