Anna Cartwright has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on joint ventures, private and public M&A, and fund formations for private equity funds. Anna regularly works on complex transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and has broad experience across real assets. Anna co-leads Jones Day's Real Estate Practice worldwide.
Among London's leading lawyers on complex UK and European deals, her notable recent transactions include advising CareTrust REIT, Inc. on its $817 million all cash takeover of London listed Care REIT, Ares Real Estate in the £400 million acquisition of a portfolio of hotels concentrated in London and other major UK cities from Landsec and the hotel operations from AccorInvest; and Oxford Properties Group in the £518 million sale of a portfolio of 16 retail parks across the UK to Redevco, one of Europe’s largest privately owned real estate managers.
