Claire Puddicombe is a partner in the London office. Her practice is concentrated on securitisation, with particular focus on collateralised loan obligations (CLOs). She represents banks, arrangers, collateral managers, and warehouse finance providers in connection with a variety of European CLO 2.0 transactions and loan warehouse facilities. Her experience includes advising on EU/UK risk retention compliant structures, captive equity funds, and pioneering ESG-integrated CLOs such as the first CLO to incorporate environmental, social, and governance factors across all investments.
Claire is consistently ranked among top capital markets lawyers by The Legal 500, IFLR1000, Chambers Global, and Chambers UK. Chambers describes Claire as "very clear, calm, and able to articulate complex securitisation work." Claire holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law (European) from Exeter University and a Maîtrise en Droit (Droit Européen) from the Université de Rennes.
