William specialises in catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence. He has a special interest in quantum and the majority of his work is related to contested assessment of damages hearings. William is the Chairman of the Ogden Working party, the General Editor of Schedules of Loss: Calculating Damages (Bloomsbury Publishing, 3rd edition 2010), the leading practitioner textbook on schedules of loss and the General Editor of Facts & Figures published by Swett & Maxwell. Although he accepts work on behalf of claimants and defendants, his practice is predominantly claimant based.
