Clients note that ‘there is strength and depth across the board’ at Mountford Chambers, which remains a port of call for high-profile cases, including at the appellate and Supreme Court level. ’Very thorough, Very clever and very dedicated’, Alexandra Scott‘s portfolio of mandates include sophisticated homicides and organised crime - in an appeal against sentence, she represented a man who was convicted of violent disorder as part of the riots in the wake of the Southport stabbing incident. Christopher Henley KC represented Jamie Rothwell - one of the primary individuals depicted in a Channel 4 documentary series about cases using Encrochat evidence - who entered a guilty plea to serious drugs and firearms offences. Unled, Ben Hargreaves represented a defendant accused of attempting to import a tonne of cocaine in a vessel competing in a legitimate transatlantic yacht race.
