Nurlan provides guidance to clients in the development, construction, operation, financing, acquisition, and sale of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and energy storage initiatives across Central Asia. His role involves supporting clients by creating and negotiating land control documents, overseeing projects through title and survey reviews, negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements, and handling various transactional matters associated with project development and financing.

In his role within commercial real estate, Nurlan represents clients across the entire spectrum of commercial real estate transactions. This includes activities such as securing financing, buying and selling properties, negotiating leases, managing construction processes, and establishing partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations.

Nurlan has extensive experience advising deals with roads, airports, transmission and distribution, renewable energy assets, and social infrastructure in Central Asia. He is adept at navigating different transactional challenges and the cross-border needs of his Clients.

His experience includes drafting and negotiating agreements to acquire companies or equity participations in hydrocarbon assets and companies operating in other sectors in Kazakhstan and associated due diligence reviews, acquisition agreements and joint venture agreements, project development agreements, and engineering, procurement and construction contracts. He also has significant experience in the areas of competition and commercial law.
