Acting for real estate managers, investment funds and developers, the team handles significant real estate acquisitions and sales, as well as residential, industrial and commercial real estate project development. The group recently advised real estate developer and manager Greystar Chile on its purchase of an approximately $72m residential and commercial real estate project. It also acted for a Uruguayan company on a promise-of-sale (and subsequent purchase-and-sale) agreement for a commercial property. The department is jointly led by Carolina Menichetti, Ignacio Bolelli and Benjamín Salas, whose broad practices cover real estate development and financing work, as well as M&A, asset sales and purchases, and corporate and individual restructuring. Providing key support at senior associate level, Francisca Rodríguez's workload encompasses land use, building permits, title reviews, sales, purchases and leases, as well as construction contracts and mergers and subdivisions; the broad expertise of Josefina Durán, who is ’very clear and always available’, includes asset purchases, association agreements and joint ventures; and Sybil O’Reilly is also experienced in real estate development.
