Delivering ‘very clear and practical advice on complex transactions’, Albagli Zaliasnik's energy and natural resources group acts at all stages of energy project developments, including permitting and licensing strategising, easement negotiations, and establishing land-use rights. The practice further covers environmental permits, regulatory compliance, joint ventures, M&A, litigation, and construction and operation contracts. The group is co-led by Antonio Rubilar (raised to partner in May 2024), whose workload encompasses projects involving infrastructure, oil-and-gas, and renewable and conventional energy, as well as regulatory litigation and arbitration; and director Federico Rodríguez, whose experience covers energy, sustainability issues, regulatory litigation and environmental law. Former practice co-head Alejandro Montt departed the firm in March 2025.
