
A sub-group within the firm’s public law and regulated markets department, Albagli Zaliasnik‘s competition and antitrust team undertakes preventive advice, antitrust compliance programmes, merger control matters, and respondses to antitrust and cartel investigations. The practice also assists with FNE-conducted market studies and litigation before Chile’s Competition Court (TDLC) and Supreme Court; while its track record further encompasses expertise in cartel cases, including salmon food industry and industrial gas sector mandates. The team additionally advises on matters where antitrust issues intersect with IP rights and the digital economy. Promoted to partner in May 2024, Antonio Rubilar’s sector specialisms include energy, infrastructure, telecoms and pharmaceuticals; and Dafne Guerra is the firm’s life sciences and competition director.
