Bofill Mir Abogados‘ equity and debt capital markets practice is routinely mandated to advise at both domestic and international levels. The 19-strong team advises on IPOs, secondary offerings, bond and share issuances, Rule 144A/Reg S financings, securitisation, and investment fund structuring and launching. It was recently particularly active on behalf of finance, insurance, real estate, construction, and retail clients. Founding partner Octavio Bofill G and Rodrigo Saffirio both advise bondholder groups on their rights during company reorganisations, along with providing general corporate counsel on capital markets regulations. The practice further includes Ana María Yuri, who assists with the capital markets’ side to real estate and leasing deals, as well as the purchase and issuance of bonds in the infrastructure and energy industries; and director Andrea Alarcón, who advises on stock markets, investment funds, regulated entities and project finance.

Advised BK on the preparation and filing of documents for the purpose of registering a line of promissory notes (of up to approximately $20.5m), before the Comisión para el Mercado Financiero, as wel as the subsequent placement of such notes for trading in the local market.
Advised the bondholders of corporate bonds series C and D, which were issued by Empresas Hites in a two phase restructuring plan.
Advised Global Soluciones Financieras-related bondholders on the breach of financial obligations under a bond issuance agreement, the restructuring of existing bonds, and the provision of additional financing through the issuance of new bonds.
