United StatesMedia, Telecoms, IT, Entertainment

The Federal Communications Commission regulates some of the most critical Year 2000-sensitive communications systems in the United States. These networks reach almost every person and every activity in this country. Not surprisingly, the FCC is devoting considerable attention and resources to the Y2K problem.
