The issue

The Department of Homeland Security has extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syria for 18 months, through March 31, 2021. Current Syrian TPS beneficiaries will have until November 22, 2019 to request an 18-month extension of status and work authorization, according to a notice published in today's Federal Register.
