Two initiatives in particular were announced at the meeting:

The Food and Agriculture for Sustainable Transformation (FAST) to drive investment in the agrifood sector, particularly for small-scale producers in developing countries; and
The Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN) to recognise the interconnectedness of healthy, nutritious diets and climate change by underlining relationships between improved nutrition and emissions reduction.

These complement existing initiatives such as the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate, a joint US-UAE initiative which has raised over $8 billion in investment in "climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation" for 2021-25.
